The Giants have released their list of players who are expected to appear on th einjury report later today. Most of them we already knew about. Two we didn't.

Those would be Hakeem Nicks (ankle) and Osi Umenyiora (knee).

I shouldn't really say we didn't know about Nicks' ankle. Tom Coughlin mentioned that he rolled it early in the game on Sunday and he did miss a few snaps because of it. He came back to catch three touchdown passes, though, so I guess the real surprise is that it is lingering into this week. We won't know how serious it is until we speak with Coughlin or after practice when the report comes out.

As for Umenyiora, it's certainly a red flag for his knee to be bothering him. He missed all of the 2008 season with a knee injury and looking back has said that he was not at full strength because of it in 2009. He had some hip issues during the spring and summer, but the knee was always fine. Until now.

The rest of the pre-practice injury report: Will Beatty (foot), Chase Blackburn (knee), Kevin Boss (concussion), Phillip Dillard (hamstring), Aaron Ross (foot), Gerris Wilkinson (groin).

Also, the Giants brought back offensive lineman Dennis Landolt to replace Bear Pascoe on the practice squad.
