Walter Thurmond III's Giants career lasted two games.
The free-agent cornerback who tore a pectoral muscle in Week 2 of the 2014 season has signed with the Eagles, according to multiple reports Wednesday.
The Giants had hoped to bring him back, probably on another one-year deal, to bolster their secondary and play nickel.
With Thurmond gone, the Giants likely will turn to Trumaine McBride as their third corner in the slot.
