Just a few updates on injuries, although there aren’t many details.

The most important nugget from Tom Coughlin’s press conference is that both Kenny Phillips (MCL) and Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle) appear to come out of the game against the Texans without any setbacks, although Coughlin did say that they were both sore.

Coughlin said there is no update on Mathias Kiwanuka, so the Giants are still waiting to see if his bulging disc remedies itself with rest.

Shaun O’Hara, who tried to run last week with adverse effects, will give it a go again tomorrow. We’ll find out how that went when we come in on Wednesday I would guess. O’Hara has been dealing with bursitis and Achilles tendonosis since the start of training camp and last week he thought he was making progress on the injury until he tried to run on Tuesday and couldn’t.

Coughlin said Keith Bulluck is doing better with his turf toe injury. I saw Bulluck in the locker room and he said he’s doing “much better.” I asked him if he’s going to practice on Wednesday. “Wednesday for sure,” he said.

I’m going to hold him to that.
