Coples, Maybin fined by league
The Jets pride themselves on being physical -- but two of their defensive players paid for their excessive force.
Rookie DE Quinton Coples was fined $10,000 for facemasking Colts QB Andrew Luck after registering his first NFL sack in last week's 35-9 win over Indy.
Jets outside linebacker Aaron Maybin was fined $7,875 for unnecessary roughness after striking Luck with his elbow aftter the quarterback already was on the ground.
