“Revis Island” is currently under construction.

The Jets announced that star cornerback Darrelle Revis will be limited during their offseason program after undergoing surgery Thursday morning to repair a torn ligament in his wrist.

He’ll have to wear a hard cast for the next two to three months, the team said. As of now, however, Revis is expected to be fully healed by training camp in late July.

According to a source, the All-Pro cornerback injured his wrist early in the season, likely around Week 3. The pain lingered until after the season and, upon evaluation, it was discovered that Revis had been playing with a torn ligament.

His surgery was performed by wrist and hand specialist Dr. Charles Melone, the Director of the Division of Hand Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan.
