Darrelle Revis still suffering from concussion, might not play Sunday

The Jets might be without Darrelle Revis in this critical juncture of the season.
Coach Todd Bowles said on a conference call Monday that his star cornerback still is going through the concussion protocol and "he wasn't feeling any better today."
Though it's still early, Bowles didn't sound hopeful that Revis will play Sunday.
"Any time somebody gets a concussion, you're kind of pessimistic about them for the next week," he said. "Some people recover faster than others, so I'm just going to have to wait and see."
Revis -- who was burned for a 61-yard touchdown by Texans wideout DeAndre Hopkins in the Jets' 24-17 loss in Houston on Sunday -- left the game in the third quarter with a head injury and did not return.
Mangold a go?
An MRI on Nick Mangold's right hand came back negative and showed no signs of ligament damage. The only question now: Can the center snap a football?
Mangold was forced to leave Sunday's game after suffering a "deep gash" between his ring and pinkie finger. The injury, which required "six or seven" stitches, according to Bowles, prevented Mangold from getting a good grip on the football.
Will he be able to face the Dolphins? Said Bowles: "We have to see what the pain level looks like this week as far as him being able to snap."

Bowles is "hopeful" that defensive end Sheldon Richardson (hamstring), inactive Sunday, will play . . . Cornerback Dee Milliner was a healthy scratch in Houston because he missed practices with an illness "and when he came back Friday, everything was already etched in stone," Bowles said.
