FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Dustin Keller isn't sure what the future holds -- for this Sunday or the offseason.
The Jets tight end, who has been sidelined for three weeks with a second-degree ankle sprain, said he's put his contract situation on the "back burner."
"I looked at it like I'm not getting a new deal this year, so that's that. Just go out and play," said Keller, who is in the final year of his rookie deal from 2008.
Unfortunately for the Jets, he's on track to miss his eighth game.
"Next year, there's no telling if I'm going to be here or be somewhere else," said Keller, who said in the offseason he didn't want to be franchised in 2013. "With that said, I'd definitely like to play in this last game if it's my last game as a Jet or if it's just my last game until next year's first game as a Jet. I'd like to play either way."
Westhoff, who hopes to become a TV analyst in the future, said assistant special teams coach Ben Kotwica will take over next season.
