Early practice report
The Jets practiced outside today, bracing the chilly air and strong wind. (The media, on the other hand, didn’t fair too well out there.)
All players were out on the field practicing, including C Nick Mangold (shoulder), LB Calvin Pace (foot) and CB Darrelle Revis (hamstring).
Revis also showed off his cover-corner ability against defensive ends Trevor Pryce and Shaun Ellis. Head coach Rex Ryan tried to throw the ball deep to his “receivers,” but Revis either intercepted or swatted the ball away with ease each time.
