Early practice report
All's quiet here in Florham Park.
Well, except for the ecclectic choice in music. Notorious B.I.G. & Puffy's "Victory" blasted through the speakers one moment, followed by Motley Crue's "Kickstart my Heart."
Good times.
Not much to report on the injury front. CB Marquice Cole (hamstring) did not practice for the third day and instead was on the stationary bike. Special teams coordinator Mike Westhoff indicated Thursday that rookie Joe McKnight -- who got some action in practice today -- could be activated in Cole's place vs. the Browns.
LG Matt Slauson (knee) also was practiced today.
More Jets
Jets' Allen got a chance to prove himself. He did exactly that.
