Brandon Moore, wearing a green sweatsuit and no jersey, was spotted off to the side during Friday’s practice. During the portion of practice visible to the media, the Jets guard watched his offensive line mates take part in drills.

It didn’t appear as though Moore, who has not practiced all week due to a hip injury, would be able to practice today. But that was to be expected given Rex Ryan’s comments.

The Jets coach said Thursday that he feels good about Moore being able to play Sunday against Kansas City and, he added, “If there’s one guy that doesn’t need to go to practice, it’s Brandon Moore."

In other news, Mike DeVito (knee) was off to the sides working out individually. At one point, the defensive end was doing some sort of hopping drills, where he twisted his torso and landed with most of his weight one foot at a time.

Devito, who sprained the MCL in his right knee a month ago, also sprained his left knee during the Jets’ 28-24 win over Buffalo.
