Early practice report
The Jets bundled up and headed outdoors for the first practice of the week today, in preparation for Sunday's showdown with the Patriots in Foxborough.
Wide receivers Brad Smith (groin/quad) and Santonio Holmes (quad) stood on the sidelines while the rest of the team stretched at the beginning of practice. The pair did not appear to be on the field during team drills.
Damien Woody was a no-show during the portion of practice allotted to the media. Despite his nagging knee injury, the right tackle played the entire game against Indianapolis.
