Giants quarterback Eli Manning made his "Saturday Night Live" debut last night.
In the essence of full-disclosure, I didn't watch it. But my buddy Tom Rock -- he of the official "T-Rock's Take on The Giants" blog -- provided Newsday with his own (very comprehensive) review/commentary.
Manning joked during a panel discussion at an Ole Miss event a few weeks ago that, despite winning his second Super Bowl championship, "I'm still the third most-talked-about quarterback in my own city."
Well, on Saturday night, the Giants QB had even more jokes involving the Jets.
Dressed in a black unitard with motion sensors during his first skit, Manning did several awkward touchdown celebrations for a videogame production -- and, you guessed it, he "Tebowed.
Later in the show, Manning took a playful, but direct, shot at Favre's sexting scandal. The QB played the part of a man on trial for murder whose Favre-like "sexts" were read into evidence.
