CORTLAND -- Looks like the Jets will have to wait a little longer to get their first taste of padded practice.
Sunday's training camp session was suspended at 10:24 a.m. due to downpours and the threat of lightning. A public service announcement was made 24 minutes into practice advising players and fans (the few that were there) to head inside or to their cars.
The storms are expected to clear up around 1 p.m., according to weather.com -- but it's unclear if, or when, the team can return to practice.
