Geno Smith vs. other rookie QBs after week 5

Geno Smith's job as the Jets' starting quarterback seems to be on the line every week. Rex Ryan refuses to name him the starter for the rest of the season. After each interception Smith throws, a host of fans clamor for backup Matt Simms to enter the game.
But is the heavy scrutiny warranted?
We took a looked at how a host of famous quarterbacks did during their first five NFL starts and compared that with Geno. We also threw in Bills rookie EJ Manuel, who was also a player that interested the Jets. Players are ranked by completion percentage:
