Former Cal quarterback Jared Goff is visiting the Jets this week, along with the Saints and Eagles, NFL.com reported Monday.

Goff (6-4, 215 pounds) started every game last year and set Pac-12 records with 4,719 passing yards and 43 touchdowns. Though his ball security has been scrutinized, Goff has garnered attention for his decision-making and throwing ability.

The Jets still are hoping to re-sign veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick before their offseason conditioning program begins on April 18. But they’re exploring all avenues, including the draft.

According to a source, Paxton Lynch is set to visit their Florham Park facility on Thursday. The Memphis quarterback has impressed team officials with his arm strength and has the type of frame (6-7, 244 pounds) that turns heads. Lynch threw for 3,776 yards, 28 touchdowns and only four interceptions last season.

Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg (6-4, 223) also scheduled a pre-draft visit with the Jets. As a three-year starter, he passed for 8,457 yards, 48 TDs and 31 interceptions.
