So much for the Jets' third annual one-day excursion to Long Island.
Due to the inclement weather that's engulfed the region and with an impending forecast that doesn't look good, the Jets have scrapped plans for tonight's public practice at Hofstra's Shuart Stadium.
There are no plans to reschedule this practice and the team has said it will return in 2012.
