QUOTABLE

"If you show -- whether it be in previous film or on Sunday -- that you can’t beat cover-zero, then they’re going to keep on bringing it. The defensive coordinator is going to keep on calling it and the players are going to feel very confident. You definitely have to have an answer for the zero." -- Jets offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur on facing Miami’s cover-zero blitzing defense.

INTANGIBLES

The Jets defense hasn’t shown much fight, heart or pride lately. It has allowed 23 touchdowns in the last four games. The defense held a players’ only meeting Tuesday that they believe will help. If the defense struggles Sunday, there should be some kind of shakeup. The Dolphins rank in the bottom four in the league in points and yards. Miami has scored two touchdowns or fewer in nine of 10 games this season.

FANTASY PLAY

Myles Gaskins, Dolphins RB: Gaskins hasn’t been particularly hot in recent weeks, averaging just 52 scrimmage yards in his last three games and scoring only once in that time span. However, the Jets’ run defense has been downright abysmal this season, allowing the most rushing touchdowns (17) and the third-most rushing yards (1,060) to running backs. It’s a prime chance for Gaskins to get back on track. --NICK KLOPSIS
