The Jets-Colts rivalry has a long history dating to Super Bowl III, when the Colts were still in Baltimore.
Monday night’s matchup will be the 69th regular-season game between the clubs. Indianapolis holds a 40-28 lead, but the Jets (3-8) are 4-1 against the Colts (5-6) since 2009.
In their last meeting, which also was played on a Monday night, the Jets forced five turnovers in a 20-7 win on Sept. 21, 2015, in Indianapolis.
