Jets have 'zero tolerance' for brawl behavior
Following the Tuesday arrest of four fans involved in a brawl at MetLife Stadium Sunday, the Jets issued a statement.
"We have zero tolerance for this behavior," the team said. "Consistent with our Fan Code of Conduct, those involved have been banned from attending any events at the stadium. Once the legal process has run its course, each of them must take the necessary steps before even being considered for readmission to future events.”
Per the team, any person banned from MetLife Stadium events may be considered for re-admittance upon completion of an online conduct course, the submission of a written apology, and a request for permission to be allowed to attend events at the stadium.
Jets fan Kurt Paschke -- a 38-year-old Jets fan from Holbrook -- slugged 26-yeard-old Patriots fan, Jaclyn Nugent, after she and a friend punched and kicked Paschke in the body and head, New Jersey State Police said. A short time later, the video footage of Paschke punching Nugent went viral.
In all, four were charged with assault and disorderly conduct by the New Jersey State Police.
