In addition to the Aaron Maybin news, the Jets announced Tuesday that cornerback Isaiah Trufant has been placed on injured reserve.
Trufant injured his left knee in the first quarter of Sunday's 28-7 loss to Seattle when he tackled Leon Washington on a punt return. Trufant, whose older brother Marcus is a defensive backs for the Seahawks, was taken to the locker room and did not return.
