The Jets picked up the 2018 options for two defensive starters, defensive tackle Steve McLendon and outside linebacker Josh Martin, on Tuesday.

McLendon, who played in all 16 games last season, will make a $3.1 million base salary with a $250,000 roster bonus for 2018. McLendon finished with 46 tackles and six tackles for loss in 2017.

Martin will earn a base salary of $1.8 million. He finished with 43 tackles and eight tackles for loss. He was also third on the team with 17 special-team tackles.
