The Jets placed linebacker Troy Davis on injured reserve with a chest injury. To fill his roster spot, the team activated tight end Chris Pantale from the practice squad.
Davis spent Sunday night in a Baltimore hospital after suffering a chest injury on a blindside hit by the Ravens' Courtney Upshaw during the Jets' 19-3 loss.
In a corresponding move, wide receiver Michael Campbell has been re-signed to the practice squad.
