What did Wayne Hunter have to say after getting beaten badly by Jason Babin for three sacks?

"He's a good player, he's a good player," the Jets' right tackle said. "We knew that coming into this game, and they know how to use him . . . putting him at defensive end, mixing him up. A lot of credit to that guy."

Did Babin or the Eagles in general do anything up front that they hadn't previously?

"No," Hunter said. "Everything we saw today, we saw on film. With Babin walking around, with Trent Cole walking around. It was nothing new. It was just, we didn't step up."

Was there a particular reason why Joe McKnight returned only one of six kickoffs and Antonio Cromartie was given the bulk of them?

McKnight said his hyperextended right elbow wasn't an issue at all and that it boiled down to what special-teams coordinator Mike Westhoff wanted. "I could have done them," McKnight said, "but I guess he went with Cro. It was a coach's decision."

What did the Jets think about the way they were cut apart by LeSean McCoy, who ran for 102 yards and three TDs?

"He is a great running back," linebacker Jamaal Westerman said, "and if you do not swarm on him and gang-tackle him, he is tough to bring down. He is a great back and he can really hurt you."

Did Shonn Greene escape the game without injury?

The running back said he went to the trainer to have his pinkie wrapped and said it wasn't a big deal, but he didn't know what was wrong with it. He had an X-ray taken afterward and said it's not going to prevent him from playing against the Giants on Christmas Eve. "I did have to get an X-ray for my pinkie finger because I stretched a tendon on it,'' he said. "I think it's going to be fine and will not affect me for next week."

With safety Jim Leonhard out with a season-ending injury, did Mike Pettine simplify things as he said he would?

"If it is, that's not something he needed to do because Brodney [Pool] and I have a good grasp of the defense," safety Eric Smith said. "We've been in it for two years, so it shouldn't have been something that was done."

Wait a second. Is Smith saying things were simplified on defense?

"I feel like we called the game the same way we normally called it in the past," he said. "I don't feel like anything really changed."

Any thoughts from Eagles defensive end Juqua Parker on his 47-yard touchdown return of Santonio Holmes' fumble?

"I just got off the ball and came around on the pass rush," he said, "and the quarterback threw the ball at the receiver, so I just went to chase him down. Somebody made the tackle and I just saw the ball on the ground, picked it up and went in and scored."
