Jets QB coach Matt Cavanaugh won't return

Matt Cavaunaugh will not return as the Jets QB coach in 2013.
His contract is set to expire soon and the Jets won't re-sign him.
It came as a surprise to some that Cavanaugh was brought back following the 2011 season, but the Jets chose to retain him after speaking with several candidates. But after a season in which Mark Sanchez regressed dramatically -- and Tim Tebow's presence complicated matters -- Cav was cut loose.
