Jets raise $800,000 for charity
The Jets raised $800,000 Wednesday at their 13th annual Kickoff Luncheon, benefitting the New York Jets Foundation and the Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR).
Approximately 700 people attended the event, which was held at Cipriani on Wall Street. The entire Jets roster, including coaches, were in attendance, as well as the Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders and New York Jets Aviators Drum Line.
At least one player sat at a table purchased for the event.
Jets owner Woody Johnson and hedge fund manager John Paulson co-chaired and Jets play-by-play announcer Bob Wischusen was the emcee.
