Jets re-sign QB Quinn, waive LB Lansanah
As expected, the Jets re-signed veteran quarterback Brady Quinn Monday.
Quinn was released before Saturday’s 4 p.m. deadline to ensure his $715,000 salary wouldn’t be guaranteed for the rest of the season. But their intention, of course, was to bring him back today.
In corresponding moves Monday, the Jets waived linebacker Danny Lansanah (whom they promoted to the active roster following Quinn’s release) and signed wide receiver Rahsaan Vaughn.
The expectation is that once Lansanah clears waivers, the Jets will re-sign him to the p-sqaud and waive Vaughn.
