Jets re-sign standout blocking back Richardson

On the same day the Jets welcomed running back LaDainian Tomlinson, they re-signed Tony Richardson, the 38-year-old fullback who helped them lead the NFL in rushing last season. Richardson, returns for a 16th season, his third with the Jets.
Mike Tannenbaum addressed speculation the Jets are considering signing Broncos restricted free-agent WR Brandon Marshall: "He's under contract with the Broncos. Rex [Ryan] and I talk about a lot of different things. We're excited with the receivers we have."
