The Jets travel to Baltimore to play the Ravens, Rex Ryan's former team, on Oct. 2, 2011. If you're going to take a road trip to watch the Jets, here's a list of 10 other things to do, in no particular order, while you're in Baltimore. 1. National Aquarium in Baltimore

The aquarium features hundreds of exhibits featuring more than 16,500 animals. It is one of Baltimore's leading attractions because of the stingrays, sharks, sea turtles, bullfrogs, phytoplankton, monkeys, sloths, iguanas, puffins and thousands more. Don't forget to visit the dolphin show and the 4-D Immersion Theater.

2. Fort McHenry National Monument

The fort is a place of interest because of its importance to American history. The Battle of Baltimore took place at Fort McHenry. The battle inspired Francis Scott Key to compose "The Star Spangled Banner." Many exhibits are on display from the American Revolution and Civil War. A movie is shown twice an hour and a restaurant and gift shop is also on the grounds.

3. The Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum

The 2.5-story, five-room home of writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe is open to the public from April through November. Some of Poe's personal effects, portraits of the writer and his family, and mementos of his life and death are on display.

4. Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum

This is a must for any baseball fan. See where it all began for George Herman Ruth before he became The Bambino. You can see the bedroom where the Babe was born and a bat, glove and uniform from when he was a student at a reform school. The museum also features game-worn jerseys from his pro days, including the Yankees.

Many natives of Baltimore consider Faidley Seafood to have the best crab cakes. They were featured on the Food Network for their lumps of crabmeat that they stuff into each crab cake. They also feature a huge oyster bar that totally lives up to the hype.

6. Day trip to Ocean City

Want to get away from the city? Travel 138 miles to soak up the sun at Ocean City, walk the 3-mile long boardwalk and hit the beach. Ocean City has more than 1,000 condos, hotel and motel rooms for you to stay while you shop, eat and play.

If you're a baseball fan, then visiting Camden Yards is a must. After opening in 1992, many baseball fans consider this ballpark the best place to watch a game. It's just steps away from the Inner Harbor and the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum. The season will be over by then, but the stadium is pretty cool and they run tours.

8. The Inner Harbor

Baltimore's Inner Harbor is the epicenter of the downtown area and located near many eateries, shops, hotels and vibrant nightlife. Many boats are parked on the waterfront willing to take you on a short cruise or catch the water taxi to visit another exciting part of Baltimore.

9. Maryland Science Center

The Maryland Science Center has many interactive elements, including a tug-of-war station, a chemistry experiment room, eye-boggling optical illusions, a lie detector machine and much more. Don't forget to stop by their IMAX Theater and the planetarium.

10. Day trip to Annapolis

Take a day trip 30 miles southeast to the capital of Maryland, Annapolis. Annapolis is home to the United States Naval Academy and the center of sailing and boating in the Mid-Atlantic. You can rent boats, kayaks or stroll the historic streets. Despite its rich history, there are many modern restaurant and hotel accommodations.
