Jets say no to Moss, Merriman

Mike Tannenbaum leaves no stone unturned when it comes to tweaking his roster.

Some joke the GM's middle name should be "Due Diligence" because he's always scouring the waiver wires looking for that next pick up. But there are two big-name players currently on waivers that the Jets have no plans in putting a claim in for.

According to a league source, the Jets aren't pursuing WR Randy Moss or LB Shawne Merriman. So we can put a stop to any rumors linking the Jets with those two right now.
