The Jets have signed OL Robert T. Griffin, his agent confirmed Tuesday. It's a four-year deal with a base salary of $390,000, per the new CBA.

The team announced on Monday that Griffin's college teammate Terrance Ganaway had signed his rookie contract.

The Jets used their first two compensatory picks in the sixth round to select Ganaway 202nd overall, followed by Griffin at 203rd.

Though Ganaway and the other Robert Griffin garnered much of the attention in Baylor country, Griffin -- who goes by the nickname "RGII" or "Big Griff" -- has experience at both guard and tackle. He did, however, tell reporters on the final day of the draft that he feels more natural at guard. "That's where I can make my living at," he said.
Griffin, who earned All-Big 12 honors as as a senior, made 12 starts last season at right guard and totaled 72 knockdowns.
