The Jets added more depth to their offensive line on Tuesday by signing former Lions tackle Corey Hilliard.

A sixth-round pick of the Patriots in 2007, Hilliard played for the Colts and the Lions from 2009 to 2014. The seven-year veteran suffered a Lisfranc injury in the Lions' season opener last year and missed the rest of the season.

Last week, the Jets signed former Giants offensive lineman James Brewer, who has experience playing at both guard and tackle.

Ex-Giants linebacker Spencer Paysinger is scheduled to visit the Jets on Tuesday, a source confirmed.
