Jets sign UFDA Campbell
On the heels of the Yeremiah Bell news, the Jets announced they have signed G Terrence Campbell as an UDFA.
The 6-3, 296-pound Campbell was one of 37 players invited to the Redskins three-day rookie mini-camp on a tryout basis.
He originally was recruited as a defensive lineman coming out of high school, but was switched to offense before his first game for South Carolina. Campbell went on to start 25 of 38 games fo the Gamecocks and was granted a sixth-year of eligibility after redshirting his freshman year and receiving a medical redshirt as a junior.
