Jets sign Vakapuna
A source confirmed the Jets will sign fullback Fui Vakapuna today.
He was drafted by the Bengals in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL draft and spent most of the past three years as a practice squad member for the Bengals and Colts.
Sports Business Journal first reported the news.
Vakapuna likely won't make the final cut when all is said and done -- but keep in mind, Rex's favorite fullback John Connor was hobbled last season by an ankle injury.
