Behave, boys

With Darrelle Revis ticketed for speeding and careless driving last week and Braylon Edwards' DWI arrest last month, the Jets have had their share of off-the-field incidents lately. So Rex Ryan made sure he talked to the team about the importance of being responsible as they go their separate ways until they return Sunday. "We try to do the professional thing - just be pros," Ryan said. "We have a lot of great people here, but clearly you make sure that they know that there is Player Protect that is available to them and to take advantage of that. They know that they represent the Jets on and off the field and I think that's important to these guys."

Getting Revis right

While most of the players plan to have a little fun in the sun, Revis is going to be spending the bulk of his bye week rehabbing his left hamstring. Acupuncture, stretching and strengthening exercises are all on tap for him. "Darrelle is going to stay here," Ryan said, "and get that hamstring physically ready to go the best he can. I think he's close right now."

Sanchez overrated?

In this week's edition of Sports Illustrated, 239 NFL players were asked "Who is the most overrated player?" and Mark Sanchez cracked the top five. He received 5 percent of the vote, tying for fourth with Washington's Albert Haynesworth. Cincinnati's Terrell Owens (14 percent) was tops, followed by Dallas' Tony Romo (7 percent). The Giants' Eli Manning was fifth (4 percent).
