The Jets are adding a veteran wideout to their receiver room
Tim Patrick is signing with the Jets, a league source said. Patrick, 32, caught 15 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns for Jacksonville last season. He joins a room that features Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell, Isaiah Williams, rookie Omar Cooper Jr. and second-year pro Arian Smith.
Over his six-year playing career, Patrick has 191 catches for 2,590 yards and 18 touchdowns for the Broncos, Lions and Jaguars. He missed the 2022 season with a torn ACL and 2023 campaign with a torn Achilles tendon.
Patrick has ties to Jets general manager Darren Mougey (Denver) and coach Aaron Glenn (Detroit).
