Jets to interview Marc Ross on Monday
The Jets will interview Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross on Monday, according to multiple reports.
Ross will satisfy The Rooney Rule, which states NFL teams must interview minority candidates for head coaching and senior football operation opportunities. During his five years with the Giants, Ross has helped select several talented players, including two-time Pro Bowler Jason Pierre-Paul, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and running back David Wilson.
With that said, Tom Gamble remains the front-runner for the Jets' vacant GM job.
