Jets vs. Vikings matchup
ABOUT THE VIKINGSCoach: Brad Childress, fifth season (37-30).
Top offensive players: QB Brett Favre, RB Adrian Peterson,
WR Randy Moss.
Top defensive players: DE Jared Allen, DT Pat Williams,
DT Kevin Williams.
KEY MATCHUP
While most eyes will be fixed on Darrelle Revis-Randy Moss II, the true main event will likely center around how the Jets' fourth-ranked run defense fares in stopping the man with the nickname A.D. - as in all day. Adrian Peterson entered Week 5 action tied for third in the NFL in rushing with 392 yards and second in attempts per game at 23.3.
Only one running back (Maurice Jones-Drew) ran for more than 100 yards against the Jets last season, and just 19 have gone for triple digits on a Rex Ryan-led defense since 2000.
"This will be a huge challenge, obviously," Jets coach Rex Ryan said. "Most teams, if you stop the run, 'OK, we've got them throwing,' which is what you want to do. But, what do you want to do? You want Favre throwing or Adrian Peterson running? This has got to be a complete game from our defense."

LOOKING AHEAD
The Jets head to Denver for their final game before the bye week. They'll square off against the Broncos at Invesco Field at 4:05 p.m. Sunday, and return to action against Green Bay at New Meadowlands Stadium two weeks later on Halloween.
