CORTLAND – The Jets caught a break.

After torrential downpours caused the Jets to flee the field 24 minutes into their morning session, they rescheduled practice for 3:30 Sunday afternoon.

“You want to have practices in some elements -- but lightning isn't one of them,” the coach said, when asked about their suspended practice.

Players, who were eager to be in pads for the first time, instead went through walkthroughs indoors.

Ivory, 25, expected to be back on the field today.

McKnight, who also missed a December practice due to a migraine and ankle injury, has been slowed for one reason or another since arriving upstate. He was placed on the active/PUP list Thursday because of a failed physical due to cramping, he told reporters. After passing his physical the next morning, he experienced dehydration during Saturday’s session.
