Leonhard done for the year?
Defensive coordinator Mike Pettine wouldn't confirm the rumor that safety Jim Leonhard is out for the season with a shin injury...but he also didn't deny it.
Speculation is now swirling that Leonhard broke his tibia during practice Friday after colliding with wide receiver Patrick Turner. Head coach Rex Ryan told reporters earlier today that Leonhard suffered a "severe" shin injury and assumed the safety had broken a bone.
As of now the team is not releasing any specific information regarding the injury -- not even which shin Leonhard injured. Stay tuned.
