Final: The Jets win, 38-7
With the victory, the Jets finish the season 11-5. They'll enter the playoffs as the AFC's sixth seed and will likely face either the Colts or Chiefs in the first round.

The Jets dominated with a formula they used last season: a strong defense that forced five turnovers and a running game that produced 276 yards. They were led by Joe McKnight, who set career-highs with 158 yards and 32 carries. Those numbers were also highs for the Jets backs this season. Brad Smith added 60 yards on the ground via option runs from the Wild Cat. John Conner ran for 44 yards on eight carries and scored a 16-yard touchdown and Kellen Clemens (1-for-2, six yards) got in the end zone with a 10-yard scramble.

Mark Sanchez started but didn't attempt a pass and Mark Brunnell performed relatively well. he was 6-for-12 with 110 yards, two touchdowns and an intercpetion. The touchdowns were his first since 2006. Braylon Edwards had one catch, but it was a 52-yard touchdown from Brunnell. Santonio Holmes had one reception for a 17-yard score. Jerricho Cotchery led them with three catches for 32 yards.

Marquice Cole led the defense with five tackles and two interceptions - one returned for a touchdown. Jason Taylor had three tackles and a sack, Dwight Lowery returned an interception for a score and Calvin Pace had a sack and a pick. He also deflected the ball that led to Cole's interception. The Jets held the Bills to 162 total yards and the seven points is the fewest the Jets have yielded in a game this season.

First Quarter
The Jets force a turnover on the Bills' first drive. On a third-and-7, Steve Johnson beat Drew Coleman on a crossing route and had a 34-yard catch-and-run to the Jets' 17, but he was stripped by Emmanuel Cook and the ball was recovered by Dwight Lowery at the 11.

On a third-and-17, Brad Smith ran an option off right tackle, got a good block from Braylon Edwards, and broke it up the right sideline for 40 yards to the Bills' 42... McKnight has looked solid so far. He's got six carries for 23 yards, including a 9-yard burst up the middle.

The Jets get points on their opening drive with Nick Folk's 28-yard field goal at 4:58. The drive 12-play drive went 79 yards - 62 of them from Smith, who broke runs of 40 and 20 yards off direct-snap options around right tackle. 3-0, Jets

On a first-and-10 from the Bills' 37, Brian Brohm threw deep for Johnson up the left sideline, but Wilson defended the go route well. He was almost step-for-step with the receiver and the ball was slightly overthrown. There was some during the route contact, but no flag was thrown.

Sanchez didn't attempt a pass in the quarter and gave way to Brunnell, who's 1-for-4 with a seven-yard completion to Jerricho Cotchery. Brunnell's first two passes were down field and overthrown. One for Cotchery on a deep seam from the weak side slot (into double coverage) and the other for Jeff Cumberland on a corner route.

Second Quarter
Score one for the defense. On a third-and-6 from their 29, Brohm's arm was hit by Calvin Pace as he threw. The ball popped up and was snagged by Cole (out-leaping Johnson) and he took it back for a touchdown at 9:19. 10-0, Jets

On a first-and-10 at the 38, Brunnell got sacked for a 7-yard loss by DT Spencer Johnson. Johnson beat Matt Slauson and got penetration up the middle.

The Jets extend the lead before halftime on Santonio Holmes' 17-yard touchdown catch with 15 seconds left. Holmes ran a corner route and Brunnell hit him between two defenders in the front of the end zone for his first touchdown pass since 2006. The drive went 59 yards on eight plays. 17-0, Jets

Halftime: The Jets lead 17-0 and have outgained the Bills, 201 yards to 110. The Jets already have 150 rushing yards - 74 from McKnight on 15 carries. Smith has 65 yards on four attempts and John "The Terminator" Conner has carried three times for 12 yards.

Sanchez started but didn't attempt a pass before giving way to Brunnell late in the first quarter. Brunnell is 5-for-10 with 58 yards and threw a 17-yard touchdown to Holmes at the end of the half. Cotchery is the leading receiver with three catches for 32 yards.

Brian Brohm started for Ryan Fitzpatrick and he's 7-for-15 with 81 yards and was picked off by Marquice Cole for a pick-6. Fred Jackson has been held to 25 yards on eight carries. Steve Johnson has a game-high 52 yards on three receptions.

Third Quarter
Jairus Byrd got the Bills on the board with a pick-6 at 13:06. On a third-and-5, Brunnell stared down McKnight in the flat and Byrd timed the pass and jumped in front of the running back to steal it. He ran it back 35 yards untouched. It was Byrd's first interception of the season. He'd tied for the NFL lead with nine picks last season as a rookie. 17-7, Jets

** McKnight has his first 100-yard game. On a first-and-20 from the 44, McKnight ran for seven yards up the middle off right guard. He's now got 102 yards on 20 carries with a long run of 18 yards.

The Jets get the seven points back on Brunnell's touchdown to Edwards with 6:41 left in the quarter. On a second-and-4, Brunnell hit Edwards deep down the left sideline on a go route (beating Leodis McKelvin) and the receiver pulled away from the defender and jogged into the end zone for a 52-yard score. Brunnell is now 6-for-12 with 110 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The catch was Edwards' first of the game and it got him over 900 yards for the season. 24-7, Jets

Fourth Quarter
The Jets force another turnover at 14:11. Drew Coleman came blitzing from the blind side and hit Brohm from behind as he was throwing. The ball popped out and was recovered by Jamaal Westerman at the Jets' 49.

** Brunnell out and Kellen Clemens in to start the fourth quarter. Clemens, the third-string QB, enters his first game this season.

Another Bills turnover with 11:56 to go. Jason Taylor hit Brohm's arm as he was throwing and the underthrown pass, intended for Jonathan Stupar, was picked off by Calvin Pace at the Bills' 27.

Clemens gets into the end zone... on his own. On a second-and-6, the quarterback rolled left and, unable to find a receiver, cut back inside to elude a defender, then ran straight forward for a 10-yard touchdown at 9:28. The Bills were in man coverage across and none of the linebackers or defensive backs kept an eye on Clemens, who is mobile. 31-7, Jets

Conner scores his first touchdown at 6:51, extending the lead and matching the Jets' season-high of 38 points (both times against the Bills). The fullback took an option toss from Smith and went off left guard for 16 yards. A defensive back knocked the ball from Conner as he jogged into the end zone, but the officials ruled that he'd already crossed the plane. The Bills challenged and the call was upheld. 38-7, Jets

And another turnover by the Bills with 4:05 left. Levi Brown's deep ball, intended for Johnson, was picked off by Lowery and taken back 41 yards to the Bills 42. That was the Bills' fifth turnover. The Jets entered the game with just eight interceptions this season, but they've got four today. That pick was Lowery's third and he's now tied with Cromartie for the team lead.
