Mangold inactive for Ravens tilt

Nick Mangold's high ankle sprain still isn't sufficiently healed enough to allow him to play.

The All-Pro center is inactive for tonight's matchup with the Ravens here at M&T Bank Stadium, marking the second straight week he's been forced to sit out following his 82-game regular streak. That means undrafted free agent Colin Baxter will start for the second consecutive game, this time facing the likes of Pro Bowl defensive tackle Haloti Ngata.

LB Aaron Maybin, signed off the street on Wednesday after the Jets released him at the end of the preseason, is active tonight. The Jets are hoping he can help their anemic pass rush. 

As for the rest of the Jets' inactives, they are QB Kevin O'Connell, WR Logan Payne, S Emanuel Cook, RB Bilal Powell, TE Josh Baker and DT Kenrick Ellis.

For the Ravens, WR David Reed, WR Lee Evans, CB Jimmy Smith, CB Chris Carr, S Haruki Nakamura, LB Dannell Ellerbe and G Ben Grubbs are all inactive.
