CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Despite four years under the New York media microscope, Mark Sanchez still is amazed at the level of attention the Jets have gotten this summer. Even HBO's "Hard Knocks" scrutiny can't compare to Tebowmania.

"He brings a lot of fans and media," Sanchez said. "It's like a cult following. You'd think the Grateful Dead are playing here or something."

Sanchez also is surprised that the Super Bowl champion Giants -- who are a mere two hours away in Albany -- aren't getting any national media love.

"Other than us and Denver, it's like nobody else is playing right now, which is crazy," he said, referring to ESPN's multiple-day stays in Broncos and Jets camps. " . . . It blows your mind."

Holmes mum on injurySantonio Holmes offered little insight into his injury or the timetable for his return. The wide receiver, who did only extended warm-ups Thursday, said he felt general tightness and soreness. "Nothing specific, just body-wise," he said, adding that it takes "a few days" to get adjusted to training camp.

Holmes was hampered by a hamstring injury during minicamp after his offseason goodwill mission to Germany.

Moore going to CantonBrandon Moore will miss Saturday's Green & White scrimmage because he'll be in Canton with former teammate and Hall of Famer Curtis Martin.

Moore has fond memories of the 2004 season, when Martin won the rushing title "at a time when people were complaining that he was old and lost a step."

Moore, who's making the trip with former Jet Dave Szott, said: "When somebody asks you to come to the Hall of Fame, I think you go."Jet streams
