Mark Sanchez receives Twitter death threat

As if embarrassing himself on national television for the second time in less than a month wasn't enough, Mark Sanchez had to endure a Twitter death threat from a disgruntled Jets fan.
The person, who uses the Twitter handle @BraveGrancru, tweeted this message in all caps after Sanchez's five-turnover performance after Monday night's loss to the Titans: "Don't come to practice Wednesday I promise you bullets everywhere..@Mark_Sanchez."
The fan also tweeted "Kill yo self tonight ! Or imma do it for you Wednesday at practice @Mark_Sanchez" -- in addition to some other expletive-laden tweets that included the N-word as well. (note: NSFW, proceed with caution).
As of 6:35 p.m. ET Tuesday, @BraveGranCru had 1,160 followers. up from the 1,100 he had from Dec. 6-17, according to twittercounter.com.
League spokesman Greg Aiello said the NFL is aware of the death threat and "our security staff has followed up with the Jets to assist."
