Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub spent Tuesday night and Wednesday in a hospital getting treatment for a bursa sac injury in his knee, but is still expected to start against the Jets on Sunday.

According to the Houston Chronicle’s web site, Texans coach Gary Kubiak said: “I expect him to be here tomorrow. Everything should be OK. We put him in the hospital to treat it, basically, and get some rest and get off of it. Made a decision this morning to let him stay there all day.”

Who are Schaub’s backups? Dan Orlovsky, who played with the starters in practice, and Matt Leinart, the former Arizona Cardinals playboy/bust.

"Dan practiced well today," Kubiak told the Chronicle. "Dan and Matt, we’ll get them ready to play. I would expect [Schaub], if everything goes like I’m talking to you, it should be OK.”
