Michael Vick to Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson: Speak out against domestic violence
Jets quarterback Michael Vick has some advice for Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson once they are reinstated to the NFL: Speak out against domestic violence.
"If they want to do something, being an advocate for the cause of what they were involved in, I think that's a good thing," said Vick, who sat out two years while serving a prison sentence after pleading guilty to federal dogfighting charges. Vick partnered with the Humane Society of the United States when he resumed his NFL career with the Eagles in 2009. "Most people need to spend more time helping others, educating others, as opposed to scrutinizing and bashing people. If they choose to do that, it would be good for them. It's their personal preference, but to help the cause, yeah, I absolutely recommend it."
