Jackson's long TD runs rout Vikings
Bobby Jackson had long scores on a blocked field-goal return and an interception as the Jets beat Minnesota, 42-14, in their first appearance at the brand-new Metrodome in Minneapolis. Jackson ran 80 yards with Rick Danmeier's blocked field-goal attempt in the second quarter, then picked off Tommy Kramer's pass in the fourth quarter and ran it back 77 yards. Freeman McNeil added to the rout with a pair of short TDs.
