Defensive Coordinator Mike Pettine is co-hosting “Match for Michael” in honor of Jets fan
Michael Manganiello who was recently diagnosed with Acute Myelofibrosis.
Manganiello’s only chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant.
The event -- which will be held on May 1st from 6-9 p.m. -- will encourage people to register for the National Marrow Donor Program (via a simple cheek swab). There also will be a live and silent auction, autograph session and photo opportunity with Rex Ryan and players, Mark Sanchez, Sione Pouha and Muhammad Wilkerson.
