Stanford OC Pep Hamilton is the latest addition to the Jets' offensive coordinator list, according to CBS Sport's Bruce Feldman.

Prior to his Stanford days, Hamilton held a myriad of roles for the Jets from 2003-05, including offensive quality control, quarterbacks and wide receivers coach. Hamilton, 38, may be young -- but more importantly, he has experience with quarterbacks. He was a former QB himself at Howard quarterback and "his stock has shot up since" leaving the Jets, according to Feldman.

Cam Cameron seems to be the front-runner to replace Tony Sparano, according to ESPN. Cameron, the former Ravens offensive coordinator, has history with both Rex Ryan and Dennis Thurman, the Jets' soon-to-be-named defensive coordinator. Former Eagles OC Marty Mornhinweg also has made Ryan's list, according to multiple reports. Bengals assistant Hue Jackson also is on the Jets' list and is expected to interview this week. He worked in Baltimore with Ryan and Thurman when he was the Ravens quarterbacks coach.

However, Carolina also has requested permission to speak to Jackson about their OC vacancy, per NFL Network's Albert Breer.
