FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - There's a chance - albeit a small one - that the Jets will have to face Buffalo without their two best cornerbacks.

Darrelle Revis (hamstring) and Antonio Cromartie (groin) were limited in Friday's practice and are listed as "questionable" for Sunday on the injury report. Though he doesn't expect to rule either player out, Rex Ryan said Friday he would consider sitting both if their injuries act up before game time.

"Yeah, there could be a chance of that," he said. "If that happens, the other guys have to step up and go. But if they're not feeling better . . . it would make more sense for us to have them healthier for the playoffs. But we'll see how that goes."

Revis, who has been nursing hamstring injuries for much of the season, said the decision rests with the coaches.

"As of right now, I'm playing," the cornerback said. "It's up to the coaches what they want to do, if they want to sit certain guys or not. I'm taking this week as a regular week and preparing for the Buffalo Bills."

New addition

Left guard Matt Slauson's wife, Cami, delivered the couple's first child Friday. The baby boy, named Montgomery, arrived at 7:15 a.m., less than two hours before Slauson, who missed Thursday's practice, had to arrive for team meetings.

QB to get 'blood flowing'

Ryan said Mark Sanchez likely will be on the field long enough to get the "blood flowing," but that's about it. "We'll see how it goes," the coach said. "I just want to get him out there. And the main thing, stay in that routine, the preparation and all that kind of stuff . . . I don't believe it'll be long." . . . S James Ihedigbo (knee, ankle) and RT Damien Woody (knee) have been ruled out. S Eric Smith (concussion) is doubtful. DE Shaun Ellis (back), NT Sione Pouha (back), DE Trevor Pryce (hip), Revis and Cromartie are questionable. Sanchez (shoulder), WR Santonio Holmes (quadriceps) and C Nick Mangold (shoulder) are probable.
