Darrelle Revis knows what you’re thinking. And he’s not disagreeing with you.
The Jets cornerback said Thursday that his 36-day holdout could be responsible for the tightness he felt in his left hamstring during Thursday’s practice.
“It could be a training camp thing because I wasn’t there,” he said. “But I was working out.”
“I’d probably say yeah, that’s why that little bit of tightness is because I’m still trying to get my football legs up under me.”
But don’t worry Jets fans – the “Revis-Moss Main Event” is still scheduled as planned.
“It's nothing serious to where I won’t be playing,” Revis said.
The cornerback said he worked half the practice, but sat out once he felt the tightness. He’s been alternating between hot and cold tubs to relieve the soreness in his leg.
